I agree with what is being said here in the above quote. There is a lot of mystery surrounding the Skylines and the claims made here. I know for a fact that the most powerful Skyline that has been tested had been tuned by an outfit called Top Secret. So until i see something that validates all the information in these posts about it being 1200bhp I shall then applaud this feat.
Just for the die hard petrol heads here I have included the link of the
200bhp skyline that was featured in the UK Tuning scene and got imense press coverage here in the UK.

Video - Top Secret Nissan Skyline: 1200 bhp, 2x garret t67 turbo, quarter mile - 9.6 secs, 0-200 mph 23.99 secs - Top Gear
I again ask Dominator if the 1200bhp was at the wheels or was it at the crankshaft and were these dyno tested.

Thanks

Indeed! And at the moment you are probably in the best position to clear the confusion, atleast with regard to the raymonds skyline. (Preferable repeat all the details in one post so that there is no more confusion regarding - R 32/33/34, HP@ wheels or crank, current color, past colors, your involvement and any other details you can spare)

Also, why is Kersi such a Mistry ? It would be great if you could request his presence on Team-BHP as well. It would be great to have him here for his expertise and to hear of projects he has worked on etc etc.

Guys, lets avoid further speculation till we hear back from dominator, or someone gets pics (shouldnt be THAT hard right??)

Rehaan !! Let me answer all your questions. Please understand that I cannot give indepth details because I am the only involved from day one on the Raymond car. Most of the speculation is right.I will not give the previous history ( regn no ) of the car for obvious reasons. The car was bought in India and sent out for complete a complete job. Except for its shell, nothing original remains on the car. So it is not a R 32/33 or 34, its a fully blown up car. In appearence it remains a Nissan Skyline, but thats about it. I would prefer that you guys get to see it, rather than me commenting. I was personally present when the car was put on the dyno and she clocked 1080 at the wheels. We even ran her at an international event there ( dont want to name the country where she was built, please understand ). I have not tuned or built the car. I do not own the car. Hope this answers all your questions and clears all doubts.

Regarding Kersi Mistry, he sails in the same boat like me. Both of us have to be very discreet about what we do because we are employed and we have to respect our employers.

Let me add here, unlike me, Kersi has worked on more cars. They have an amazing collection. My project has been an out and out drag racer, not heard or seen in this country.

While I am at it, let me also add that all these talks about blue/yellow/black skylines in the country are just for the numbers with all kind of claims by the owners. I know the supra in bangalore, which is a beast, but the raymond car is way , way , way beyond all the cars.

I hope this answers all your questions.

Dominator - I have one question, who's going to drive this drag Skyline if it does turn up at the Speedrun?? Is it going to be GS? Or is he going to get a professional to do it for him?

i believe you must have just looked below ( at ground level). the car would be standing on the top if i know rishadh. he wont want unnecisary publicity for the car or himself. will ask rishadh if it is possible to have someone see the car, cannot promise of taking pictures of the car, would have to ask the owner for permission. after the show i dont see it being a problem at all.

Again thanks for your attempt to clear the confusion. In other words this is not a Skyline but a car tuned to run a drag race with the body of a Skyline I guess R34 as that was the car that Mr. GS has.
To be honest your previous and current response are all making a reference to a Mr Kersy Mistry but that I feel was confusing matters as for me all i was expecting from you was to explain the depth of your involvement with this "1200 bhp skyline" in Mumbai. So as mentioned I look forward to seeing or reading about this car.
It will be bonus if someone gets a glimpse and can post pics of this car.

When you say fully blown up car you mean it is fully modified correct !!!!not the other meaning. So when you say you were involved with the car from day one it actually means you know about the car and saw the dyno'd results right. Apart from that all the work was done outside India and by specialist tuners. May be this was the confusing thing also for me as I now understand.

thanks

Thanks for taking the time to reply.
Things are still mildly unclear, but i guess that just adds to the excitement for a car like this.

No doubt, but it would be great if we had more knowledgeable people participating on Team-BHP. Regardless of whether they are spilling details about what they are currently working on, they could still be adding great value to this community.

Who / what is it going to run against at the drags ? And is the make-shift location of the drags going to be a safe enough playground for something like this to truly run at full throttle?

Actually Rehaan, you'll find I'm very, very anal about details. Go ahead, look at post #38 here.

Feel free to add a large dollop of ghee to your words while eating them.

Hey dominator, what do you mean just the bodyshell is that of a Skyline? Is the chassis the same, or is it a tubular spaceframe?

Found some more pics, now I'm not sure if this is the same car:

I am a genius!!!!!! This (the garage) is Croydon Racing Developments (CRD)- NSW - Australia.

Here you go boys...the answer to all your questions (well most of them atleast.!!!). The car is a BNR33 by the looks of it.

CRD Gallery

and i am sure it is a RB26 with a high mount T88 single blower with tons of other bits...and a bad@r#$ torque splitter (all to the rear wheels off course)

Will check with a few mates in Sydney and see if i can find out more details.

MODS and Other parties involved with this car...Please advise if i should restrain myself from posting any further details.

Cheers..

V1p3r,

You are such a smartie. Why do you think dominator keeps saying he was "involved from day one", and mentioned that he is neither the (current) "owner" nor the tuner, hmmmm..how could it be ? lol

Theres a lot going on here that isnt quite visible to most people....

R32_GTR, mods dont have any issues with you posting these pics (as yet). As for the "other parties involved..." thats upto you guys to figure out.

Oh and btw - as you say - RB26 and single blower seems to match the description i have heard too! Nice find with the pics!
