Isn't it the other way round for UK? Yellow plates at the back and white up front? This one seems to strutting yellow ones on the front as well. Anyways, the car looks as if someone set fire to it, then decided to douse it off midway and use it for a little while.

Not sure about the plates from UK. Yes it looks like it was flamed, there are so many ways to make the DHC classier, but this one is just horrendous. Also my source tells me that its a full custom paint job and not a wrap!!

Err..I've seen the same pic of the car without the plates masked and they were Indian temporary plates (MH TEMP), not foreign.

One more of the same, looks menacing in dark.

Re: India's first Rolls Royce DHC is here!!

WOW! That is quite an extreme mod on a RR phantom coupe. I reckon the owner has another one which is why he went so bold on this one. RR's officials must have a gander at this image.....they would be gutted to see one of their models so extremely modified. The phantom drophead is a thing of elegance and beauty to me. This seems to have gone in the opposite direction. I wish he would minus out the skulls and go all black on the canvas roof too.

WWE superstar Undertaker would really love this car the way it is. For the dark side!

Re: India's first Rolls Royce DHC is here!!

Scorcher's right.

Those plates are not UK Plates, they are CRTM (Certification of Temporary Registration) plates which are put on before the vehicle gets its final no. Every vehicle entering within Mumbai Octroi limits needs to get his CRTM done or else the vehicle is not allowed within city limits.

These plates are usually Yellow background with Red fonts.

Possibly the most outrageous yet stunning Rolls Royce Drophead Coupe in India
Matte Black, a red roof and amazing airbrushed skulls
It doesn't get any spookier than this !

All credits to Kshitij Keer for the pics

Skulls on a Rolls Royce is not stunning, It is sacrilege. Sorry o.O

The matte finish on the other hand is interesting. Could you post more pictures of the above car from other angles please.

Re: India's first Rolls Royce DHC is here!!

First off are the skulls really airbrushed or are they similar to decals or "ishstickers" ?

I am not sure I'd want that on a DHC if I ever owned one but hats off to the owner for its uniqueness and stand-out traits.

This has easily got to be one of the most sinister and wicked looking RR's in the world right ? I can't think of anything that comes close except the matte black Mansory Phantom.

I reckon they are airbrushed, certainly not ishstickers or decals, they could be high precision paint but I remember someone mentioning it being airbrushed

It sure is sinister, outrageous and funky and I find it to be a top notch job which looks good overall even on a Rolls Royce while most people cringe on looking at it

Re: India's first Rolls Royce DHC is here!!

why buy a regal vehicle and pimp it out like some drug peddler??

i have said it before and i will say it again - doing this to a RR is pure sacrilege!!

(though i do appreciate some nizam/sultan/maharaja cutting up a roller and using it as a garbage pick up vehicle - but pimping up a rolls royce to make it stand out is a strict NO)(maybe the guy has some severe complexes but still NO)

It's ghastly and fairly un-contextual copycat syndrome type thing, upstart?

Copycat = blindly copying a rapper or celebrity of a drug dealer from the US in most cases having some connection to a lifestyle/profession/singer etc.

Unconetxtual = like Bollywood movies copy Hollywood scripts, at least they put some indigenous look feel! this is in india has zero context to anything.

Despite the world becoming flat LA, New York or not MUmbia or the other way around. A neatly done Indian motif would have been great this is unoriginal. It's like you have all the money in the world but never have original ideas! "The Italian Job"?

OT but I really wonder why are most of the horrific and outrageously modified cars from the US and not any other country?
