Awesome video. I generally don't like the 6 series, but that car looks quite sharp. Also the howl of the exhaust at the end was great. M3 growl sounded good too.

Whats the 0-100 on the M3 man/DSG? IIRC the E92 manual made no gains in 0-100 compared to a E46 which is at 4.8 secs. E46 gained .4 secs on the E36 Euro. The issue like you pointed out could very well be traction.

On paper , the manual reaches 100 in 4.8 seconds and the DCT reaches 100 in ~ 4.6 seconds.

0-60 between the E46 and E92 M3s is very close but there is an appreciable difference from that point on, so it does point to standing-start traction, coupled with an increase in weight.

So yesterday I pulled into the pump to check my air pressures and what do I see? A brand new, Jerez Black E93 M3 having its tyre pressures checked on the way to the show room!

Quite uncanny, the timing at this petrol pump, first the M5 and now this M3!

I happened to be at Bachelors last sunday at 2:30 and saw a similar colored or i would say grey colored M3. The guy was in his early 20's i suppose. He reversed the car after the ice-cream session and waited for some space after which he put his foot down. The exhaust note was to die for and so were the wheel spins in all three gears, last being a minor one. Seemed to have good control over the car. She certainly looked hot.

Aside from the fact that there're 800 horses jumping around at that gas station along with about 16 German cylinders (atleast from what I can see), the thing that strikes me the most is the fact that there's a Pizza Hut IN the station! Man, I miss India.
