It might have been modded (or just an exhaust), cause the note was to die for.

I'd give anything to capture the expression when he saw what just drew up in his rear view mirror! Classic.

I hope you carry your own (accurate + branded) tyre pressure gauge along? These pumps have terribly inconsistent readings.

Haha! Yeah, but it was only the showroom driver taking the car to the showroom, not an owner, so the thrill wasn't quite as great as it could have been! Oh well, I'm sure there'll be a next time!

You're telling me about the pressure gauges being bad?! Yeah I've noticed the HUGE differences between different pumps! None of them has their gauges properly calibrated, sadly!

Sorry to go a bit off topic, but you guys should consider picking up a Michelin Tyre Inflator.

(Michelin Hi Power Rapid Inflator from Halfords Was £67.99 Save £23.47 Price £44.52)

I picked up one from Halfords in the U.K. and am using them in my BMW's; as I do not trust the local bunks here.

A lot of M3s pouring in. Especially white. I've come across 8 -10 only white ones. Yet to see a silver one. Silver was pretty popular on the E46.

Interesting. It runs off the cigarette lighter port, I take it? Can you program what pressure you want it to inflate to, or do you just keep going 'til it's time to stop?

Yes, the white M3s are selling the most, world-wide. Funny, all my earlier cars were silver (except my Honda City which was green). I decided a long time before I bought the M3 that my next car would be white. Strange that it's actually the most popular colour. I guess it just shows the lines the best!

I agree. Although the orange peel on BMW's is terrible and it shows up on white a lot. My second favorite would be a tie between Melbourne Red and SSII . The SSII makes the car look like the "Silver Surfer" !

The TPMS will only warn you if one (or more) of the tyres has pressure that differs beyond a certain percentage from the stored value. It does not give you a pressure read-out.

Yes, that's the price you pay for water-based paints, which are more environmentally friendly than oil-based paints. Still, it's very noticeable and annoying!

If you mean the Earthquake-relief fund 430, then that's in silver and gold.

Yes, kbk it does run off the ciggy lighter port/ 12V D.C. Aux Power port. You need to dial in the pressure you require in either psi/ bar and the unit will then automatically inflate the tyre to the desired level.

It's pretty neat actually and quite accurate too !!

You bet. I caught a brand new red M3 on the western express highway. Being r-i-p-p-e-d. Man, that exhaust note was to die for!
