Yes, I love the look of both these cars. Sadly the rest of the BMW range doesn't look as good to my eyes. No, didn't play with the M5, just parked it next to my car to take the pics!

E60 M5 has a 5 litre V10 that makes 507bhp @ 7,750 rpm and 520Nm at 6,100 rpm. It comes in two body styles, 4 door sedan and 4 door estate.

You seem to love paying visits to those guys at Infinity it seems KBK?
Looks like the M5 might have been towed there as the cap on the front bumper is off.

Oops ! Did i just read GTO call a Bangled design "beautiful" :
Yup, I was there to replace a stolen emblem. Don't know exactly what was up with the M5, but I know there were some problems with it. I think they're great looking cars!

I had put up a pic of the interior earlier, I'll try and get some more at some point. The engine is all covered up so there's really not much to see. I think I've done around 9000 Kms, give or take.

Yup, just shy of 10,000 now. Went on a really super drive yesterday with the 911 Turbo and my M3. That 997 Turbo launch control is simply breath taking!

10K in 13.xx months is a pretty decent run. Been stretching her legs pretty often, eh? Expressway drive on sunday? The 997 owner ought to come on board too.

Yeah, I'm averaging around 1000 Km a month with her! I've probably been out of town the remaining three months! Yes, expressway, did three runs from Pune to Lonavala, it was awesome! The guys at the toll booth couldn't believe we'd keep coming back every half hour!

LOL! Any pictures of the beasts in action together? Did you drive the 997 as well? Must have been some experience gunning them in the tunnels.

I have a couple of pics and some video! I drove the 997T earlier, not yesterday, but I did sit in it. The launch control on the 997T is incredible. The combination of automatic gear box and 4 wheel drive, together with rear engine (and therefore heavy weight on rear tyres) makes the 997T launch control an unbelievable proposition! Absolutely no fuss, no wheel spin, nothing but crushing acceleration off the line accompanied by a great soundtrack!

My M3 is quick no doubt about it, but off the line the 997 Turbo made me feel like a complete slug! I will upload some pics in a bit.

No, those are dead bugs !

My watchman has a hard time getting them out every 10 days when we make our day trips to Pune and back in the beamer. I thought it was ugly on my silver paint but it's a lot worse on white.

Two words...car shampoo! Makes quick work of dead bugs! Yes the bugs show really badly on the white paint. The black doesn't look too good with a few hundred dead bugs on it either! :(
