That'll be E92, thank you very much! Not trying to hide the car, just don't want to put personal info on the net!

Yup, realised & edited that before I saw your post, alcohol does slow the brain down a bit I guess!

And yes, I agree about not putting personal info on the net but such specialised cars are kinda hard to hide, owner's identity is easier to hide though!!

Irags,

Remember that you can now reverse-lookup owner information from the vehicle registration / number plate for some states.
If kbk's personal info gets out, his car will become the official TBHP test-drive car

Ah, well i guess the operative words are "at the moment", but i saw a fairly new looking NHC last night with a MH 43 M xx numberplate. Anyway....

Anyway, update on the car: She's run a little over 800 Kms now and has just gone-in for her first service! The CBS info said it was time to change the oil. I guess all the starting and stopping the car (before I bought it) didn't do the oil-change interval any good.
Phew ! What a car. I keep saying that every time I see this thread. Anyway KBK , How does mondep compare with the M3. I know engine wish its no match but Mondeo is a great handler too. Whats your say on the same ?

The car's doing well, thanks! Have lots of fun with it every opportunity I get!
Well, good question Max, obviously there's no comparing the two cars at all, but...the Mondeo's steering is actually more full of feel than the M3's. It's not got any fancy BS between the rack and the steering wheel like the M3, with the result that you can "feel" every little ridge on the road through the steering wheel. The M3's steering is also very nice, but that "feel" is now tempered down. For sure I don't feel the subtle (or not so subtle) nuances of our lovely roads through the steering wheel in the M3.

I'm not sure which is better to be honest. Obviously the ability to feel what's going on under you makes you more in control, but with our bad road surfaces, sometimes I think that the gentler alternative is better!

Posting this here as I cant find an M3 thread, tbhp doesnt allow me to search for "m3" !! I just saw the white M3 flying past the ITC Grand Central about an hour back. Was that you, kbk_75? What a pleasing sight that was !! (And yes folsk I KNOW my M3's, dont put up stuff asking me if I saw a 3-coupe instead of the M3 !!

Note from mod : Post moved. Try alternative search words instead. Advanced search : threads by kbk_75 would have been a good place to start.

You were in a hell of a hurry, I could see that !! Your ride is sweet man, even more so in white, I love white cars. Finally got to see your M3. Usually I chase, or atleast attempt to, but last night I knew it would prove to be futile. You were flying like the customs were after you
