I'd love to be in a hurry when driving an M3 . How is the beast treating you, KBK? Any updates for us?

Whoa...congratulations! KBK has been generous enough to share his super sedan experience with the rest of us. I hope I can look forward to your reviews too.

Haha! Thanks for the kind words! I had a dude in a black Getz "chase" me today. I was actually driving quite gently (4th-6th gear most of the way), he was driving like a maniac trying to keep up. I couldn't help wonder what it was all about.

Congratulations Accord Masters! What options have you asked for?

You'd be surprised how frustrating it can also be! Having said that, I'd rather be frustrated by traffic in the M than in the Getz! It makes the few odd openings in traffic so much more fun!

Updates...well, I've run over 5,000 kms now. So far all good. I noticed a strange whining sound from the power steering when taking a tight left corner twice tonight. Other than that, loving the ///M!

One bad thing: fuel consumption. You can't expect much out of a high revving V8, but in town (and with a pretty heavy right foot) I've seen the mileage drop to just around 3 Km/L. On the highway at a steady 120 around 7 or so Km/L which is great.

you seem to be a BMW loyalist. Have a 7, getting one done by Arush and picking up a M. Are you getting the coupe or the convertible ?

I'll tell you what it was all about !!!

Four cylinders and an M badge Anyway give the Getz'er some credit man. He might just be someone from t-BHP. I knew I would if I were tailing you!

You should be used to it by now! Anyway glad to hear she's keeping up well. And fuel consumption, well I guess thats expected from a big thirsty V8. Happy M'ing!!

Considering that I have managed to touch a low of 3.5 kpl on a friends S350 and 5 kpl on my Vtec (high revving ), that is respectable. Who cares about FE anyways?! Keep those 8 cylinders and quad exhausts singin' in full glory!

Yup, on that particular stint, the car never saw 4th / 5th gear. It was only redlining in the first three.

Cielo's and Astra's were of a different time. Anyway that was nice to know, just goes to show that the brother is surely the super-admin of a forum like this. Redline away, man!

Congrats and I think you should start another thread . Some pics and initial driving impression would be a good start.
