hey neel. the LX470 has been here since a couple of years. In Mumbai, there are scores of them. Have pics of atleast 30 different LX's.

Anyways a similar topic already exists. Merging it with the same.

I spotted a white lx470 with a red siren on it at Parel a few days ago, the car had aftermarket rims on it which looked pretty BLING. I could only manage one picture from the bus I was sitting in.

there was something mention about the coming of land cruisers into dubai and then them being modded into looking like a lx this is true but its not the dealers who do it or support infact when i talked them about they said its a risky thing since there have been cases of the owners when they take it back to india find some genuine toyota parts of the car missing replaced with duplicate parts and also some of the remodling done with duplicate parts however this is only a few cases but it does happen so anyone planing on doing it im not saying dont but make sure the guys well known for doint it and that too without any "hera pheri" ;-)

i think. LX 470s sold in different markets hav different rear end styling. as far as 2 my knowledge.. the ones sold in usa and JDM ( LC CYGNUS) hav the same rear styling w/o the spare wheel.
whereas the ones sold in australia and in middle east have the different styling.

Hi all,
I noticed there was confusion beyween Lexus and Toyota brands...
Lexus is the luxury arm of Toyota...So it differs totally from toyota products. Anyway the platforms are similar but the features and package differs. Its not just the badging or region difference. You can also get these in South east asia, Middle east, eurpoe and americas...Please find below the luxury arms of auto manufacturers...If anyone else knew furthermore please include...

1. Toyota - Lexus
2. Honda - Acura
3. Nissan - Infiniti.

Thanks
Rajeev

toyota has brought in only the landcruiser prado and there were talks about the fortuner being brought in as well. god knows when that would happen. the landcruiser 101 would not be brought to indian shores as of now.

Looked like a regular Prado from the side
Observation: Lexus / Landcruiser LX470/LX570's in Mumbai-gx1.jpg

until I walked in front and seen the Lexus badge ahead and the GX470 badge at the rear.

I think the GX model is only available in US, I dont think not alot of people know about the GX or else we would be seeing prado conversion.
