The person who had bought her from mbil, changed the original michelins with standard alloys to AMG alloys with goodyear gsd3[bad choice] and which are to the end of their life. and the real cost of the car is much more[sl350's are going at this price], I gave in an exchange hehe.

Im told MBIL has sold more than 20 SL500's till date in India. Besides the direct/tr imports

I've driven one of these, Silver SL500, 06 model, bone stock [Friend's car, is in Mumbai, MBIL import], but it's great fun [I would prefer a 911 though...]

I saw a light metallic green'ish SL55 (atleast the bodykit was an AMG) speed past at Santacruz, it was near the entrance to Bandh lane on Juhu Road. And trust me, it WAS greenish, not a trick the sun was playing with my eyes or something. I didn't even know this colour existed, and couldn't take pictures because it was travelling in the opposite direction. Glass roof et al. Was the first time I spotted this car.

Here's one that I regularly spot though. Sunny was driving.

The one thing that makes a car AMG is the engine. If you got a regular SL500 engine under the hood then thats what it is.
Body kits/tires don't mean much.

Guys stoping confusing yourself.. flyingspur is talking about a different greenish SL55 AMG which he spotted but could not click any pictures and he has posted the picture of a different car which is Sunny Deol's SL500.
