if i know where that garage is, it has some awesome people who only do imports and are trained to fix only imports. my mech is there as well. santacruz is it ?

Yes Jesal, thats Santacruz bandh area. The entire lane is mostly filled with imports and garages who fix these. I have seen Land cruisers to Alfa Romeos to 3000gts to mustangs (team motor works) to modern Beemers, old tank Mercedes models and the likes.

Hey jesal, agree with you that they maybe the best mechanics to work on imports. But thats not the way one should treat someone else's car. anyways, these pics are not taken in the baandh area. Anyways its not my car, so I have no rights to say anything.

Could be possible Sahil. When I saw this car last year, it had the registration as "MH-04-AC-1958". Now thats a 1995 registration and one that was already existing on the below cars : "Dil Chahta Hai" 300SL, 2005 SLK 200, 2005 S320.

Any further Info?

Are you sure it was an SL? Or was it the Fab Design SLK280.

Actually I caught a very fleeting glimpse from the behind. What was clearly visible to me was the AMG logo, and Dubai Plates, No roof, Two passengers A guy and a girl, infact I almost tend to think it is LHD, as the girl was on the right and she did not seem to be driving. No other details, not even the color is clear to me, it was about 9 PM.
