Speedy - AFAIK there were no S63 or E63 models available in 2004, they were only introduced last year or so.

Shouldn't this, then go to wierd and whacky mod jobs, as the owner is trying to lie (that too in such a way that he will obviously be caught by people who know)?

Oh forgot to mention, there is also a similar AMG wannabe in Kolkata. With the sports gril and AMG badge. Can't recall how it was badged C200/C32 or whatever. I guess it was C200 AMG!

Looking great is not the only criteria for a lot of people Cyrus. I would rather travel in a correctly badged Honda City than an impostor AMG C-Class. But then the question is how many people amongst us can actually diffrentiate amongst these things?

I on the other hand absolutely despise fake badges and so would never be even caught dead near such a car.

would rather wait and get myself the original than be seen driveing around in a make belief. if you want you can get the kit put on the car but not the badges. atleast the people who understand cars know what ur driveing

u are absolutely correct...i had seen the silver car in bandra a few months ago and had instantly recognised that it was a fake....but that makes only a handfull of us who can actually differentiate.....but u gotta hand it to this guy...the car does look great...but then thats a personal view...

I think the car model is definitely a C180 and even the trim level is 'Classic', which is the base model since that is the only trim that comes with black door handles. The other trims' Elegance' and 'Avantgarde' both come with body coloured door handles.
