I spotted this beauty at Linking Road today. It was a 5.7 Hemi. I was on the other side of the road and it was dark, still could spot this baby. The driver was very friendly and let me click some pics. He even switched the lights on from the remote. . He said there were total 3 of these in Mumbai.
Sorry about the image quality, my cell cam sucks.

I've been seeing so many of these around, I wonder what draws people to the car. I mean, sure it looks fantastic and all muscle-car like (this and the Dodge Charger especially) but the interiors are a serious bunch of poop. And surely not worth the money people pay for it here.

Was he a guy with a big beard? I've seen someone like that drive it on Carter road with a temporary yellow number plate.

Yeah it wasn't the SRT8. SRT8 is a 6.1 HEMI. This one had a HEMI badge but no SRT8 badge. So it had to be the other one. Thats 5.7 HEMI.

No idea buddy. Never got to see the owner. Asked the driver but he preferred to be silent here.

They are. Very superfluous sort of car that looks good from the outside and thats about it.

Same with the charger and same with all Chryslers really - the plastics are worse than Tata.

If it didnt have an SRT8 badge it would be a normal 2.4 or 3 litre Chrysler engine.

The 5.7s do duty on the Dodge Charges as the R/T version (as opposed to the SRT). Not sure if they are on teh 300C too, I wont be surprised if they are but they certainly would carry an R/T badge in that case.

I am sure there is a 300c 5.7ltr HEMI in the US because my cousin owns one back there. If you are saying, it must carry the R/T badge, then i must have missed it. But the one i saw definitely carried a HEMI and no SRT badge.

Saw this one outside Otters Club on Carter Road, Bandra. Common sight around there. Don't know whether it's a CTDi or a HEMI.
