Goa has changed a lot since I last visited it in 2007. Paddy fields have given way to massive multi story apartments and, like Pune a lot of "Guntha mantris" (people who have become rich overnight by selling off their land) have sprung up. The only difference being Pune's Guntha mantris use "Corpio" (Mahindra Scorpio strictly in white) and Goan Guntha Mantris use nothing less than Porsche Cayennes, BMWs (X1, X3 and X5), to name just a few!

But the car I saw was far, far ahead than any of the ones mentioned above. It has been my personal favourite and I had just added it to my sprawling garage.... of 1:18 scale models that is.

I got to see a shiny black Mercedes G55 AMG in the flesh going at high speed on the relatively new road runnig parallel to Miramar beach.

Yup thats what I heard. Its MP reg, was the number in Bombay same as in 2828 because the owner cars have all "28" numbers, I guess you might know who the new owner is.

Yes Zibby, this is the same car. It had been for sale from a while and the from what i heard the Bombay person was only using it till it got sold. I know who had it in Bombay,,but who owns it currently i do not know.
