Supercars & Imports : Goa

hI guys,
Came across a news item in sunday times of india.It said last year 86 imported cars and bikes were registered in Goa. The most expensive car was a ferrari italia at about 3.5 crores and most expensive bike was Hammer BV at just about 1.05 crores.

AFAIK, the F458 Italia is priced 2.xxcr (sub 3cr) which is much cheaper than the 599 GTB. So dont you think the yellow 599 should top the list?

Hammer BV? you sure you got it right??

Scocher its the press..they only write what they have been told without knowing the stuff. The famous Ferrari thanks to GS is the 458 so all Ferrari's for them are 458's. What they actually meant is the 599 as the price is of the car. The Hammer is supposed to be the Hummer

i thought he said the " Hammer BV" was a bike..

There is a Victory Hammer in Goa? And it retails for 1 crore landed here? Hard to believe.

I am not upto date with the Bikes in India..so did not know of one being in the country itself. So cannot say if it was Ex any state, in Bombay in my friends who own SBK's i have not seen it or heard, none the less i'll ask them.

Is the Hammer Victory a 1 cr bike.
As per the link 2011 Victory Hammer S Motorcycle : Specs , it retails for 18000 USD without any additional options.

OK, so this thread has been dead for a long time now. I am glad to hasve an update for all of you.

The. Owners of the cars that bear the number"3040" have a brand new member to their collection: a Volkwagen Beetle. It is red and White and I have not seen it yet as I cannot imagine it in those dual colors.

I hear the generous couple have loaned it to a friend of theirs who are to wed today. I will post some pictures of their car soon.

This particular Red and White combo looks strikingly similar to those little Nerd Herd Toyota's from the Tv show Chuck. Cute!

And the rear of this very same car reads: "A buggy from my hubby". I cannot find that picture unfortunately. But yeah, it was a birthday gift from the hubby to the wifey.
