Indra, the porsche cayenne is more of a drivers SUV as compared to the Q7.

Also many of the roads in Goa are still narrow so since the Q7 is gigantic it may be trouble. Also it depends on personal taste and choice the cayenne looks very unconventional but the report on the GTS is crazy. Watch the Top gear report on You tube on the GTS.
Also the Q7 as per Audi is a soft roader even though it can go through almost all Off road terrain. Also the 3.0 diesel poweplant in the Q7 is an Advantage with the cost of fuel rising. Usually fuel cost dont matter to people buying any of the top end SUV.But just thought id mention

Also getting your vehicle serviced would be a problem in Goa.

So to sum it all up. If you want something practical and something up and running soon incase it breaks down..it should be an ML since Mercedes has a workshop in Goa.
But if you love driving fast and want the driving dynamics and feel of a sports car then the Cayenne.
But if you are going to be chauffer driven then the Q7..or perhaps you can import the latest Q5 it has the same powerplant of the Q7.

i think we will opt for the cayenne with 21inch rims and air suspension.i have driven the cayenne and also a range rover vogue in goa. the range is much better in terms of power.i touched 170 on the cayenne and 185 on the range on vasco highway.also how much will a range rover sport cost.and am sure of getting the no. plate "28"

I think V10 bought the base Cayenne for 80, so I doubt that you would get the GTS for less than 1.0 cr on road with some basic additional options.

you would be right since you checked with Porsche themselves. I was referring to the following post of V10 : http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/super-...tml#post795687. Seems like he has got some really great options on his Cayenne.
