The car was introduced from day one. The most selling is the 730ld and the 750li in bombay hence the very neglegible number of 740li's.

740li over a S63 AMG no ways, unless your talking purely on the price factor. 750li more likely over the S63.

, The 760li is as quick as the S65 Amg but stays a lenght behind. Seen them both go at it and the S65 was the better of the two. The 760li did not stay far behind though on the first run. interchangeing drivers gave the 760li the edge. My take is the S65 is marginaly faster than the 760li.

Hey,the S65 AMG has a 60+ horsepower power surplus over the 760Li with some serious go-faster kit.I don't think it would be a fair comparison ,its got to be faster!

An Alpina B7 on the other hand would do the trick though!

Sorry guys! Typo! My bad! I meant I'd take the 760Li over the S63! But honestly, I'd take a Bimmer or an Audi over any Mercedes (sans the SLS, SLR ) I've always preferred the Z4 (especially the new one) over the SLK 350 and the M3 over the C63 AMG. I've always preferred the 5 series and the A6 over the E-Class!

I agree with you Suhaas on the Z4 part and the M3 part for sure! But i do contradict your opinion on the 5 series and A6. I mean the new E is ravishing to say the least and from the design aspect I'd have the E class over the Beemer or Audi anyday. The Audi A6 actually looks to prosaic to be an executive sedan, and the 5 is well good looking but, only the headlamp cluster does it any justice. Otherwise, the E klasse anyday.

For sale by the first owner?! Man, is the owner's honeymoon period with it over(read novelty factor) or does this speak about the car on the whole?

A panamera is already in the used car market. This country never stops suprising me.How many of these are there in the country by the way.
And by the way a 4 door Porsche sedan never appealed to me in the first place. They look best as coupes.

yesterday went for coffee @ emporio with my friends and saw a white lwd phantom, blue Maserati GTS, Orange Gallardo(520) Convert, Bagla's white R8(he is trying to sell it) along with my friend's white LP560 and white bentley FS that we came with.

It was some site. others that came and went were some X5s and X6s and few Audis.

The LWD Phantom is just a gorgeous looker, took some pictures from my phone, havent downloaded them yet, when I do, I will post them up. I will not smudge the license plate because i believe its not owned by an unknown owner.

I like the BBS-esq wheels that come standard on the Panamera. They look nice. I don't quite like the Panamera on the whole. Wonder why this one's on sale. Owner faced some criticism from his super car-owning buddies perhaps?

The car is brought down by an importer or grey market dealer. So the person who buys the car would be the first owner. It saves money importing a car directly as the dealership puts its margins and sells. I think Magnus auto in Delhi had advertised this car during the Launch of the Panamera in India. Many dealers book cars when the bookings open and get alloted cars during the first month of Launch. I was offered a Ferrari 458 Italia and the Mercedes SLR 722 RHD just when deliveries of the car started.

There would be in my opinioun 5 Panamera's delivered as of now in the country.
