No RHD for the 722 SLR?

Are you sure that the 722 is only in LHD? And its a celebration of Moss's 1955 Mille Miglia drive! So Benz doesn't expect to sell the 722 in Britain? Very surprising.

Regards

LHD cars can be sold in the UK. The insurers might add onto the premium though

There are a handful of RHD Mercedes McLaren 722s made. I'm not entirely sure about that though!

SLR was only LHD. The 722 is the sucsessor of the SLR and had a limited number of cars built in RHD. Buddy i am not into making baseless claims. I was offered the car by an agent and it was at the factory in Germany for 5.5 cr and by the time i confirmed it was already sold to someone in U.K. That is why i mentioned it. Sorry for any innconvinience caused.

You are right about it.
Speedy -the SLR is built in the UK, unless it was built and shipped over to Germany

Must have been Ajmat. I was told there were 6 cars at the factory and this agent had one car with him,A black one. I presume he must have booked for that market and the order got cancelled or some other issue. It could also be the owners of the booked cars wanted delivery from the factory. This was the time Recession hit Europe in a big way.
I was mainly concerned the car did not have to get converted to RHD by an outside source and the car was in black. I do not believe in asking too many questions, If the price suits me and the colour is right i just answer in a single word, Yes or a No. Saves everyone the trouble.

A friend of mine has bought a SLR and was getting it converted to RHD, but canned the idea of bringing it to Mumbai as it was the same time the terrorist attacks happened and he did not want to risk it. This was the information given to the dealer friend, who also happens to be a bhpian .
sorry for going OT but i believe that your friend happens to be my friends boss!!

the interiors on the panamera look terrible, kind of like a santro with a few chrome bits.

the only thing i like is probably the area around the gear and how there is a diviider in the form of a centr console, going right to the back seats.

As says Jeremy Clarkson " The queen's head looks much more prettier than that " , same were my feelings for the panamera . But somehow the black colour made me realise that it doesn't look that bad ! And not even THAT good too.

And the foot mats are horrible !!
