Had gone to a workshop for the repair of my LS430 where I spotted this beauty parked outside.

It's a high performance limited edition model of the Celica. Turbocharged engine delivering 225 PS of power and 304 Nm torque with full time AWD (Wikipedia says)

From the looks it's the model in production from 1989-1993. Well-kept I must say (but not right now).

Got interested and inquired if it's up for takers. Owner is unwilling to part with it (but willing to park it in dust??)

Absolutely fantastic catch!

A decade ago, this would have grabbed as many eye balls a Ferrari does now! And the fact that this is a Limited Edition that's four-wheel-driven and turbocharged just makes the whole deal better.

The bonnet louvres look a tad overdone, but look nice anyway! This car strongly reminds me of another popular sports-car, the Mitsubishi 3000GT, and I think you can see the similarity in the spoiler at the back?!

This must be the hottest maser in india,absolutely perfecto!Love those darkened headlights.

@prabhpreet That celica(carlos sainz version) is a good catch indeed.Wiki says this version came with a different intercooler(water to air),a short throw gearbox,lighter bumpers and that hood.But it makes not 225 but 208bhp.

Sad to see the owner prefering it to let it lie and rust.
