What is that red thing in the mirror?
Supercars & Imports : Delhi NCR-whattsthat000.jpg

"Objects in the mirror appear..." whatever, who is reading that when you can admire this:
Supercars & Imports : Delhi NCR-whattsthat001.jpg

That is a better view:

It must have been frustrating with that stop and go traffic in Noida:
Supercars & Imports : Delhi NCR-whattsthat003.jpg

It was only a matter of time when I and everybody else were looking at the vanishing red dot...
Supercars & Imports : Delhi NCR-whattsthat004.jpg

Wish my phone camera had better optics!

Actually the last line was not true, I made it to the next traffic light earlier and even got through while he was stuck. You cant be taking chances with a car like this one in NCR traffic...

But the S600 has hardly any more presence than a normal S. Only for enthusiasts. And S classes are quite common nowadays.

Agreed.

I'd say a Jaguar XJ or a Maserati Quattroporte has more presence than a Mercedes S-Class. The new F01/F02 7er is rather large as well.

The Jag and the Maseratis are classes apart . S are quite common . Agreed. S320 ,S350 . 500 and the 600 are quite rare in india.

You could talk about the Jaguar XJ-L SuperSport and the Mercedes S600 in the same breath. The S600 however, is quite rare, as you've mentioned. And it would look like any other S-Class unless you're a connoisseur.

I love the S600. But the Jag would be the car I'd choose.

re: Supercars & Imports : Delhi

I was driving alongside what i thought was a regular S class during the Supercar Rally, i kept wondering how could it be so loud everytime the driver revved it !
And only after that i noticed the V12 badge and the exhausts, it was the rare S600.

500s too are becoming more common after Mercedes started assembling them in India.

I have seen a black S600 in Tolstoy Marg, CP near the Dalmiya Cement building, not sure if it was a deep green or black though. Also saw a black S-Guard near Scindia House last month, alongside a grey Bentley Arnage R and a black Jaguar XJ. The Jag XJ belongs to someone in the Kasturba Gandhi Marg itself. I have a pic, but can't post it as it was snapped in a private property.
