re: Supercars & Imports : Delhi NCR

I saw Chandigarh White Hummer H2 at Badarpur Border couple of days back.

Also, have seen the Rolls Royce & Lexus cars on few occasions around Ashram crossing. Jaguars (different models) are also seen between Noida Sector-14 to Ashram via DND.

Hey ,

I don't think we will be getting the A-Class anytime soon , however the B class is expected to be launched this year . It was mentioned on Overdrive a month or two back . Expected to be priced at around 20-22 lakhs ex showroom .

Thanks

Read about the B-class on team-bhp as well.
That is about to launch soon i guess.

The A-class seemed pretty good on the looks, don't know the specs so can't comment on that front.
The size was similar to a Honda Jazz.

I wonder why dont we get such options for a premium Hatch here in india ?

Maybe because no one will buy it? I mean how many Beetles and fiat 500s do we get to see on the roads? i dont think theres any market for this car in india.

I know, but such cars aren't for the masses
They are for the classes

I am sure a decent pricing would do the trick.

If merc is able to offer such a car around 15 L on road i am sure this would certainly do good numbers.
I would be one the prospective buyers as well

Btw you are very true on what you said, people here in india spending 25L on a car have that mentality of "Badi Gadi" in there minds.
So a person buying such a car would probably go the accord or the superb way.

DL 3C BV is like a new car. It's the facelifted A-class.The rear does have a striking resemblance to the Honda Jazz. It's imported by the company I guess?for testing or something?

Asking because,I remember reading some indian car import laws somewhere for private use . I forget where. It said something like there being a required minimum cost of car and engine displacement to be eligible to import into India. And if I recall the minimum cost of a car to be imported was fairly hefty.

Ps- I could be off track about such a rule. Do correct me if I am

B class has already been launched and you can get to see one at your local Merc Dealer. Autocar already has a review for the same

The car seemed new and was most probably a company owned vehicle, having the chauffeur in a white uniform

re: Supercars & Imports : Delhi NCR

Spotted this Mini in Gurgaon.
I have to say, it was one of the most boring spottings I have had.
The only reason I clicked it was because it was right in front of me for more than 10 minutes. The most boringly designed machine around me, and I was surrounded by santros, accents AND an electrical transformer!!

Its TOO big, and that color did not do any further good to it.
You should see the Khan Market original mini. Youll want to take it home. This, it looked like a jazzed up ertiga!

re: Supercars & Imports : Delhi NCR

That looks like a Countryman to me. If so, then the Mini moniker has never been so misplaced as it is on this car. But then, it does get the engine from the Cooper S, so we can allow it a few foibles

re: Supercars & Imports : Delhi NCR

@shamik.bose - youre right. Its a countryman. The tailpipes look very skinny. They shouldve been a lil sporty since its getting the engine from the cooper s.

Do you agree with me guys?
