Apart from there project i found something else interesting parked there.

That seems to be exactly the same car which had a crash during the Supercar Rally in Mumbai earlier this year!
A Figo had rear ended it. It was on Italian plates back then.

Are you sure? Wasn't that an LHD one?

Also, while this seems to have graphite finish rims, the one at the SCI drive had hypersilver ones, I think.

It should have been an LHD since it was running on Italian plates but the car was RHD as can be seen from the below pic. The car appears to be the same.

Yep a Black Veyron has landed, The Car is heading to either Mumbai or Faridabad !

The car is not bought but as per Manufacturer laws, the Demo car has to be replaced in 8 or 12 months. This looks like the new Demo car and the old one must have been sent back.

Are you talking of the Veyron which was in Delhi for the launch ? Wasn't it sent back a few days after the launch ?

^No it wasn't. Infact it was moving to different cities namely, banglore, hyderabad and chennai etc looking out for potential buyers...But unfortunately, thanks to the ridiculously priced tax system in the country, especially the 30% increase in import duty after budget, noone is ready to buy this 20 crore monster. Also, when cars like pagani which look so drop dead gorgeous are not having any takers at 12 crores, one can only dream of seeing a veyron in India being driven by some owner.

How sure are you? The car went to Hyderabad AFTER it arrived in Mumbai n spent 2-3 days. It arrived in Mumbai few months after it was in Delhi. In the meantime, it was in Europe. Also, I don't recollect the car being in Bangalore or Chennai any time. Correct me if I'm wrong about this part.

Might be a bit off-topic, but it's indeed strange no one's buying Paganis in spite of being offered in RHD and being cheaper than the Veyron. Just like the Veyron and the Agera R, low ground clearance looks like the main reason.

I dont know about banglore, but it was there in chennai is what i was informed. More over, i can put my bottom dollar on the fact that NOONE in India has bought a veyron. I have said it in the past in he w16 thread itself that they DON'T OWN a veyron and the thread title needed to be updated. And coming to pagani, huyra is having a decent "driveable" ground Clearance. Still they are no takers @ 12 crores. that pretty much sums up the indian super car range in India at the moment. With Rupee depreciating further, one can only see the prices sky rocket further on these sports cars.
