It isn't a full blown AMG, but an AMG nonetheless. Mercedes calls it the GLE 450 AMG Coupe. It gets plenty of AMG styling bits but doesnt get a handbuilt engine, similar to the C43 AMG.

The GLE 450 AMG has now been renamed to the GLE43 AMG to fit alongside other Half-AMGs like the SLC43 and C43
