(Sorry for poor photo - Friend Clicked It.)
hey abhinav, this was me driving this car for sometime as I have sold this car to one of my buyer and the car has allready left delhi and is on its way to some other state...Infact that day only I was driving this car towards the transport company for getting it loaded on a truck....here's some more pics of this beauty..Keeping this car for somedayz was a wonderful experience....Man when u know u have 300 horses beneath you with a 3.5 ltr turbo engine, U need to have a gr8 control to drive it......What the car just lacked is the exhaust noise or else its one very good car to keep (This is what I felt)....

Unless the car was turbo'ed after market, the VQ series in fairlady is a NA engine and it produces 300 hp only in Manual models. Since the above is automatic, it will have around 273 horses.

Exactly what I was thinking! Plus, that thing would be a drab with an auto tranny! Call me old fashioned , but car's with such HP are best driven in stick shift.

carlover84 triptronic does not make it a manual transmission, it still remains an automatic with the convinience of faster gear shifts due to the triptronic option. the others have stated facts related to a Stick shift (manual). both my mercedes are automatics with the triptronic options.

I know speedy that triptronic never means manual transmission and I meant the same thing that It has a triptronic transmission option also which can help it get faster gear shifts.....Hey I have seen this car 3 dayz back at Lajpat nagar main road.....

that 3.5L engine is awsome and trust me. i have driven it in the Z and in the FX35 that engine is very good performer all aroudn. and even in automatic mode say if you are doing 80 mph and want to overtake a semi, just drop one gear down and see the rush of power.. it is just an awsome experience.

Delhi's First R8

Just saw the R8 in the Ashoka parking about half an hour ago. Guess the owner had come to F-Bar, since as I was leaving noticed a number of guys in safari suits (security guys uniforms) standing outside. No pictures though, alot of guys were standing around the car; the type of guys who I really would be better of not pissing off if I were to start taking pictures. No numberplate, large silver stripe running down from the top to the bottom just after the door. Brake calipers had R8 written on it in white. Looked real real sweet.
And after that saw a limo near the Claridges, couldnt tell which one it was, saw alot of them in London - the logo is like 2 wings on either side of a centre symbol.
Anyhow, R8 overshadowed everything else completely..Anyone else seen it?
