Pardon me for sounding cheesy, but with great power comes great responsibility.

If you have a high-performance car and are driving it on the highway (read: fast) the least you can do is not have people sitting in the trunk. Forget seat belts, poor chap doesn't even have a seat!

why should anyone " read:fast"? why do you assume that just because the post says NH8, the car is barreling down a highway? it also says towards Dhaula Kuan, and you obviously dont know the geography of Delhi to know that Dhaula Kuan is one of the most high traffic slow moving areas in Delhi.
btw its no longer NH8, its now renamed NH48,
instead, please write on tranport dept websites on the perils of up to 10 people travelling in a low performance (read:slow in the fast lane) three wheeler rickshaw or similar on the same highways all over the country. low power does not mean no responsibility.

Nice! where is this? the only EVs (apart from Revas) that ive seen in Delhi are the many Tata Tigors etc that the govt has. not yet seen a private large EV

The post I replied to mentioned NH8 and I've seen these cars go ridiculously fast on highways, hence the "read: fast". I fail to understand why this bothers you so much.

Yea, that's because I've never been to Delhi :P But regardless of whether one can go fast or not, it really is against basic traffic rules, and not to mention very unsafe for the kid.

Anyway, apologies for going off-topic here. I can imagine someone opening this thread hoping to see some sweet cars, only to be greeted by yet another discussion on traffic & safety rules
