Like some people have said, let's wait for pics. But until then...

Like mentioned before, all owners of exotics in India are super rich enough, to own them abroad also. But we have to remember one thing. SHOCK VALUE ! Dubai wouldnt be as thrilled to spot a Gallardo convy as people in India would. I still remember some comments when the RR Phantom from mobile store was in b'lore. Even when i was road testing the CGT Speed, people were awestruck by the car, and asked a million questions. One of them came in a 2008 S350 !

Bottom line is, rich people who get these cars down mainly do it for shock value. Again, please remember that i aint pointing fingers. My line of work makes me meet a lot of these folks, and many candidly admit to do so.

But hey, who's complaining ? I love it when the famous red/grey ferraris rip through the roads here, not forgetting the Masers, the GTRs and the other cars. India's sure evolving. Next on the list, is either the Koenigsegg CCX, or the Zonda F

apparently dropped 6+ crores for their car and mr.property 3 and 1/2 cr.
both cars were flown in on a plane to bombay airport and put on 2 fully covered flat bed trucks and the gt was parked in bombay and the veyron was trucked to delhi with an escort car with guards.

as for the veyron - black on the outside white in the middle the works.......imported with lakh worth of spares tyres, fuel pump, air cleaners etc.
The owners son didnt let my friend take a pic of the car.
There is a whole 2 car wide driveway into the 2 lower basements.. though the car is removed from its original exclusive garage area.. This is what i have heard.... still waiting desperately for any pictures to completely believe its existence as is whole of TBHP.. but from what i have been hearing and seeing, there is a strong possibility of its existence..

This seems reasonably interesting. Could it be the first time that all of TBHPs Veyron myths could be put to rest? Hopefully so.

Well thats an amazing bit of news v10.
Hope to catch it someday on my cam.
Though it will be tough if its limited to the NH8 as the guy would be just flowing it at good speeds.

Gurgaon-ians. Time to explore the night life of NH8!

its duties havent been paid so they arnt telling anyone about it but one of the sons takes it out on the highway.this guy who told me wouldnt make this up and hes pretty close to the owner's son.
they even got the special key which lowers the car and makes it go to 407 kmp/h.its a direct dubai import so its still got dubai reg.
now i know there have been many rumours but i'm just checking if anyones heard about this?
I too am waiting for some pics..
ask this one of your friends who has spotted this UFO on nh8 if it really is a Bugati and to confirm with its a LHD or RHD?

cause LHD is not allowed to be imported under indian motor law! PERIOD!

one more thing how can a custom duty not paid vehicle is released from the customs?

you can import from dubai, and its registered in dubai then its a LHD and LHD is not allowed to be imported into india!

something is not right here!

you have obviously no knowledge of carnet. look it up online.

as far as the case here of the delhi veyron, it is purely illegal...

but IT IS POSSIBLE TO IMPORT CARS LIKE THE SLR, CARRERA GT AND VEYRON INTO INDIA for a limited duration of 6 months or 11 months max.

i agree to the lack of knowledge on my part, i posted what i knew about importing the cars into india.

if its possible to import a vehicle for a small duration of 6-11 months and then the vehicle is taken out of india, i have no problems dude!

could you please post that law or a source regarding this, it will enlighten me to do the same in future if i want to bring any car of my choice into india!

ok, i am waiting for the pictures of this one surely. what i fail to understand is why people bring their normal landcruisers here from dubai? i mean it does cost money to bring it from there to here surely. 11 months you can bring a LHD car and drive around and then take it back.

WOW, a Veyron... lets wait it out and see if this one is true. BUt just to say... I know people in London who personally own a Veyron. he's had it a while now and guess how many times he's driven her... 4 times! In London! These cars are not meant to be driven as a daily drive. Even once a week for a car like that is a lot. Its only the Arabs that drive these cars regularly....

Talking about performance being too much for India... really??? Isn't an M3 as well!?! haha. the point is every super car is too powerful for India. SO if you point fingers at a guy who wants to drop $$ for a Veyron but not at a guy who buys a 599, that just silly!

and it is possible to get things out of customs without paying duty. I know of an SL that was cleared like that. But, would someone risk a Veyron without duty. I mean, eventually people will realise there is a Veyron around... how long can you keep that a secret??? But lets hope its true.
On the note of fast cars... i clocked 286 km/h yesterday in my Black 911. Haha the reason i say 'black', is because we've picked up the yellow one from the VV pump. So now the 911 count is at 3.
