The new Z4 is stunning. The Z3 was a competent machine but this is something else and i think BMW has priced it reasonably too, in the Indian market.

I'm sure anyone can walk in and take a look at a car at the showroom. The folks there are very hospitable and courteous to all.

Wow, that's a replica of the BMW art car canvas the Z4 is parked on! The one by Robin Rhode. And it's awesome how the Chennai showroom looks so much like the one in B'lore! Guess the folks at bmw weren't kidding when they said "all our showrooms are built to standards set by BMW"...

Mlcarrera,

Congratulations! Gorgeous colour there! I've just fallen in love with the 911 997 Turbo all over again! She's a beaut! And IMO, arguably, the most practical super car money can buy in India. I wish to see it in the flesh someday All the best!

P.S. Nice pictures Manish. Can't wait for the photo shoot!

I completely agree with you. I never really liked the Z3 and infact the previous gen Z4, but this is completely different. It has true presence and I'm guessing this will attract the Audi TT buyers. It also serves to people who are looking for a good convertible car, I know that the SLK and TT also offer this function, but the Z4 definetely snatches the attention from them.

Congratulations Mlcarrera on the Turbo!

Nope. It's not the 997 Mk-II Turbo. The new 2010 Mk-II has an improved version of the tried and tested PDK gearbox (it has flappy paddles behind the steering wheel instead of the toggle switches on the steering wheel spokes), it has LED day time running lights p front and LED brakes at the back. But the most important thing is that Porsche have incorporated 'Direct Injection' in the same 6-pack motor that has bumped up power to 500+ brake horse power.
