I guess its the same H2 which was in Cochin Port for a long time & later bought by a imported car dealer. He might have sold it to Chennai, anyway its not seen in Kerala at present.

There's a Q7 bought recently by the family of a leading tyre manufacturer.

It's a 3.0 TDI in Dakar beige color, similar to the one you have spotted.

The Q7 is becoming comparitively common-place at least in Bombay and Pune. The other day I was sitting having lunch in Pune and I saw three different Q7s pass me all in the space of half an hour!

+1 especially since its available off the shelf and i know two or three small time property dealers in my area who've got themselves those.. and i've seen one or two jatts rolling those on the NH8.. to them horsepower, performance are not considerable factors while buying a car.. it should have presence, seat thier entire joint family and run on diesel.. like they say, "badi deejal gaadi"

what i find amusing is that even after spending 60 - 70 odd lakhs you are concerned about a 10rs per litre difference... i mean at the max you'll spend a lakh more on petrol than diesel while buying a 70 lakh car!!

Personally I'm not big on SUVs, but to be honest I think a decent diesel engine is the ideal motor for a big, heavy vehicle. To get similar torque out of a petrol you'd need a high displacement engine and then the gas mileage would be absolutely atrocious.
