Nice. Very nice.

By the way... isn't anybody going to explain that audi auto gearshift to me?

And...

How about the white 7-series by the little temple in Ranga Road a couple of evenings ago. Totally oblivious to the blocked traffic behind stopping cars passing either way!

After some shouting, the driver opened his door and took a look around. Didn't look rough, or stupid, looked like a regular and decent guy ...and he did then move a few yards.

More to topic though, in white, that car looks really magnificent!

^^ Whats there to tell brother ? You got it completely right. And yes, you get the Engine Start/Stop Button on the gear knob too.

Start/stop button is on the gear knob? Like the SLR?
I thought the disel R8 had it on the steering wheel.

@gvr - Yeap same. But SLR starter button also gets a small lid insipired by some fighter jets.

@shamik - He meant the R8 V12 Tdi dude, still a concept which reportedly shares the 6.L V12 mill from the Q7.

OT:
I guess they are still working on a gearbox that can take up so much torque .

Fantastic pictures of the R8, Manish!

I still prefer the 911 Turbo but the R8 looks splendid, especially in white! Would've liked to see a manual stick shift but ah, what the heck!

Sorry for going OT again - Aren't the V12's for the R8 Concept and the Q7 based out of the Lemans winning R10 TDI car?

The R8 is gorgeous! As is the Jag! I'd prefer the manual too. Audi sticks shift buttery smooth.

Yes the V12 tdi for the R8 is based upon the Leman winning R10 v12 tdi.
But the Audi r8 v12 tdi produces 500bhp from a 6 litre engine while the v12 tdi in the R10 produces 650bhp from a 5.5 litre engine.
