It is not a recent import, but recent to chennai. Was a Bangalore car.

Instead LS comes with a Hybrid and there is no other car competing with it in that segment.
Agreed LS is the only car with a hybrid drivetrain. But the sales figures don't seem to favour the LS when it comes to ride quality, handling or power. Infact, in the Asian market S class rules hands down. Ironically, Lexus being an Asian brand, their LS is nowhere to be seen in the radar of luxury car buyers.

go through my previous post,it will clear your confusion about the LS.

Question:Is there any Lexus dealership in India?Answer: NO

Question:Is Lexus aimed at Asian market ? Answer: NO

My point is they are aiming LS mostly at american markets and they are doing quite well. And any unbiased person would say the LS is a better value for money car in its segment. At the end of the day its personal taste, but you on the other hand seems to be generalizing views! So next time you speak, speak for yourself don't go around saying fact less things.

I meant it looks brand new(not literally brand new) well if it was a recent import it would be reconditioned and reconditioned cars look almost new that why I said it.Btw is it a twin turbo or a NA and what about the transmission?

The red Supra is a non-turbo , automatic. Some mods might be planned.

Tata and Jaguar Land Rover rock!!!
You have made my day Sir! JLR dealership eh.. ss if there wasn't enough reason for the lads of Chennai to hang around Ethiraj Salai

There's this black XJ doing the rounds around Annanagar and Mogappair. The new Jaguars look so damn beautiful.

Possibly the most special-looking car I've seen, personally, in Chennai. Correct me if I'm being dyslexic with the model, but ... BWM 650i convertible! White, black top.

region: Turnbulls Road, Chamier's Road.

Quite made up for the disappointment of the A8 the other day.

My wife pointed out, it was being driven by a woman.

I spotted the 650ci twice in like a month. First at Bessy and second time at Express Avenue. And I think it had aftermarket exhaust cause the Growl was amazing even from a distance ! Posted a picture of it over here http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/super-...ml#post2321931

My Friend saw a similar Red Targa 4S in Hyderabad a couple of months ago and I think I even posted about it in the Hyderabad thread. AFAIK DC's have a Targa 4S in the same shade but definitely not with the registration no. you have mentioned. AP20 = Khammam RTO now that has got me curious about the owner !

I too saw this convertible last week - entering into the petrol bunk just opposite to RainTree, St.Mary's road (R A Puram). But when I saw it, it was a guy who was driving it. Couldn't stop to click it though!!

Subarus are rare indeed. Unfortunately, the Subaru Forester sold here as the Chevrolet Forester didn't succeed though a good car.

BTW, the Subaru Legacy Outback is a special car for me personally since that was the first car I ever rode on, drove and used for my driving test in the USA in early '95.

An interesting fact is that the US Postal department ordered special right hand drive versions of this car for usage by postmen in some areas.
