Those alloys really make a good car a killer.

re: Supercars & Imports : Chennai

Here is the link to the article on the Seized Maserati.

Imported Maserati seized - The Times of India

Although there was no mention about the Quattroporte, it was said the Maser was in White Colour and was registered at Mambalam RTO with the no. 0001. Now that has got me curious, have never seen any other White Maser in Chennai except for the White GT that too a couple of years ago. And I also heard it left Chennai long time back.

Correction: Its not Quattroporte but a white Granturismo with a number "1". Its quite often spotted by Cenotaph Road

re: Supercars & Imports : Chennai

The Maserati GT kept in the Cenotaph Road area is registered number 6 and is a shade of cream. I saw the Music Director's silver Maserati GT last week sporting registration number 0001. PPS's pictures of the car on post number 4648 show the new plates that the Music Director's car has now.

It it one more of the cars bought from the infamous Vasantkunj dealer?

Spotted a Grey Bentley Flying Spur near the Kotturpuram Bridge. The Car was unregistered. Instead of plates It just had a sticker that said "A/F" on it. What does that mean?

Couldn't click Pictures! But we all know a Flying Spur right?

re: Supercars & Imports : Chennai

Spotted a white Hummer H3 yesterday around 2:30pm at VenkataNarayana Road-SW Boag Road signal towards Nandanam signal. I was coming towards Nandanam signal when I spotted some big masculine machine in my RVM. Immediately slowed down my car. Thank God, the signal right in front of me also turn red for a good 70 seconds and this humongous monster was there just in front of me.

And just some half-an-hour back, spotted this R8 with the same registration number at TTK Road-Music Academy signal.

Innocent me asking this innocent question : We know that it is offensive to write anything other than the registration number in the number plate and that the number plate should carry the number as per its standards. Then, why these sorts of number plates in such exotic cars? Just because it is a Hummer and Audi (also because of their owner's influence), these guys will never fall under law

re: Supercars & Imports : Chennai

i guess the R8 is yet to b registered.. ive seen a few mercs here running on plates with the model designation alone, (ex: C Class.. etc).. as to why they are not caught is a topic best kept offline..
