Here turbo is to designate the model name.. this being a 911 Turbo. you would find carrera, carrera s, gts etc on their other models..
i personally dont find mentioning "automatic" to be such a bad thing, and im sure most indian buyers (who actually buy the "automatic" or 4x4 variant would prefer to flaunt the fact that their car is an additional (read more expensive) feature..
for different reasons, i personally would find it extremely cool if my cars came with a "turbo" sticker, but hey thats just me.

If you know about the mad 911's from 70s and 80s then you will know how iconic that turbo badge is; IMO its more than just spec of the car on a porsche.

The 911 Turbo was one of the first series-production petrol cars to be equipped with a turbocharger when it was introduced in the mid-'70s. Hence, the 'Turbo' nomenclature.

Yep. The X6 M and the X5 M launch taking place tomorrow. Wondering what the pricing will be like and if a super SUV actually sells here considering the affinity for SUVs in this country.

Both the cars will be launched day after. Tomorrow is the media drive at the track. I am waiting to see how BMW prices these super SUVs.
