Just opposite to the Hyundai manufacturing plant is the MMST track. So by any chance, is Lexus organising a track-day for potential customers at MMST?
From what I have been told, Toyota has got a bunch of RC-Fs to sell in India as their "halo cars" and by bunch I mean less than a dozen. Apparently, they have been priced ridiculously high at about 2 crore rupees. Wonder who bought it in Chennai though.

Are they trying to be the new Skoda? As in, ten years ago Skoda had persuaded India to see its brand as luxury?

Yes, you are right. Not seen online at all. The new advertisement is being aired for the last fews days for Diwali sales.

Was able to grab a couple of pics from the TV ad today. Sorry for the poor quality. Will repost when I find better quality ones.

Indeed the yellow Huracan was delivered by us some weeks back. Has to be one of the highly loaded LP610-4's around. Had no idea it is going to make its small screen debut so soon.

The red 488 GTB is a Bhpian's I guess. There is only one 488 GTB in Chennai and it belongs to a fellow BHPian. And if that yellow Lambo is a gallardo, I'm very sure that car belongs to the same BHPian

There are two 488 GTB's in Chennai, both red. One shares garage with a yellow Gallardo plus a few more supercars and belongs to a bhpian.

This one, however, is the other red 488 GTB and it shares garage with the yellow Huracan plus many other high-end cars.

Was it delivered by Lambo Mumbai? No territorial issues since Chennai falls in the Bangalore dealer's area?
Also, mind throwing some light on the spec?

As //M said, these are two different garages we are talking about. mlcarrera's garage has the 488, Gallardo, F430 aand the SLS AMG. Whilst the one being discussed is the famed 3666 Saravana Stores garage, which recently broke it's all-white cars norm with the red RR Wraith and has been on a roll ever since.

Started this morning to work on a good note!

Spotted this M3. He seems to be a regular on the Porur route.

You'd be surprised to know that its not a genuine M3.
  • The ground clearance is much higher than a regular M3's. Cars with the Competition Pack sit even lower.
  • Those tires are too weedy to be on a M3, which runs 275 sections at the rear.
  • Those look like 18-inch M6 specific wheels - probably knock-offs; don't even think those style of wheels come in that size.
  • The brakes in that thing are way smaller than what a M3 would have. Plus M3 gets perforated discs; these are just steel ones.
  • Finally that side skirt is a M Performance accessory for the 3 Series. M3s get their bespoke skirts.

That's a 3 Series with a full M3 body conversion kit. Probably a diesel. That'd suck.

That is quite some insight! Thanks man!

All this while, I used to look at the mirrors and the front/rear bumpers. Now it looks like the mirrors are also being swapped for the near perfect M3 looks.

Not only the mirrors, the lookalike M3 exhausts are dummy in nature AFAIK. Only 1 pipe out of the 4 actually work, the rest are just there to give it the M3 look.

Quite a neat job done I must say !

That is indeed a 320d. Verified on Parivahan.

P.S: The OP needs to edit out the number plate
