@mlcarrera

You're officially the "Porsche" man in Chennai!. I think it's time someone organized an import car show here and i know there are enough cars to fill a decent sized parking lot. Anyone?.

Possible. Since they'd like some privacy.

Sorry to disappoint you, but it is a brand new Cayenne S with no body damage whatsoever and has TN registration. Take my word for it, 'cause i spotted the car from all angles. The driver was speeding a bit as there was very little traffic on city roads early Sunday evening and the pic i posted was the best shot i could get while driving. Cheers!

This cannot be the same car as i mentioned in my earlier post. This was a brand new Cayenne S and all factory original. As for the Boxster, for a change , the driver was more beautiful than the car and that's saying a lot from a 'car freak' like myself.Regards.

I tried adding a pic while editing my earlier post but it didn't happen, so here is another pic of the Boxster S.

Pic was taken yesterday evening. How's everything going?. Why don't you organize a supercar show in Bangalore?. Or, connect with the same events management company that did the show in Mumbai and set it up. They did a decent job at that show. I know Bangalore has enough import cars, though i didn't spot even one the two days that i was there.

The 650i might be in Chennai now but I'm sure its the same one which is spotted in B'lore on a few occassions.

And I'm not good enough to organise a Supercar show .

couple of bmw 6s
Yeah nothing close to the finacial hub mumbai, but may be blr and chennai together
And dont forget we have a TRACK, and most of the guys who have created some noise in the racing world are all from SOUTH

Well, lets call it the law of averages.
How many of them would be ok to display their car in public?

Good evening guys, saw a white Bentley CFS at Nungambakkam this evening, couldn't snap it as I was just walking out of an office complex...

mlcarrera & nickatnite - There is a Cayenne GTS in Chennai in the same colour as the one posted. I saw it late one night zooming down the road and quickly turning into the owner's 'sweet' shop for the night.

Chennai has what it takes for an event -

a) A race track
b) Skilled sportscar drivers - Narain Karthikeyan, Karun Chandok etc etc.
c) Major motorcar companies - Ford, BMW, Hyundai
d) Corporates willing to sponsor and......
e) THE CARS - A Ferrari F430, a Maserati GranTurismo, 4 Lamborghinis, 2 Rolls Royce Phantoms, 3 Bentley CFS, 1 Bentley Arnage, a Chrysler 300C, an Audi W12, 2 S500s, 2 Jaguar XFs, 5 Range Rovers, a Mitsu Evo 7, 3 Hummers, a line of Porsches and all regular models of Mercs, BMWs, Audis.

But how many owners will be willing to display their imports?
