McLaren's here is Chennai this week at the ITC Grand Chola, showcasing the 720S. I got to check it out yesterday, and boy, what a machine ! The representatives there were kind enough to show me around the car in detail. I got to sit inside, fire up the glorious 4L twin-turbo V8, and rev it a smidge .

I must say, for such a low-slung car, it was relatively easy to get in and out of. I also found it surprisingly roomy on the inside, despite my hefty 5' 11" frame. The controls seemed well-laid out, with no pedal-offset to complain about. The view from the driver's seat was better than I expected - I could clearly see around me for the most part. My favourite part was the simple steering wheel. All the controls were thoughtfully-arranged around the driver within easy reach, resulting in a simple and beautiful steering wheel devoid of any buttons.

Formerly of the very famous collection from Kolhapur. I believe this is Blu Le Mans & not Blu Cepheus.
