yup. the V8 M3 has 414 horses. I am just waiting for someone in India to compare the E92 M3 with the Nissan GTR which are both similarly priced. Although there are noticeable difference like auto Vs manual, +- 60 horses.

Actually my intention was to know the reasons for which a person has chosen a M3 over the GTR or vice-versa. Simple as that.
Hmm.. That can be answered by the buyer himself. As such I believe both the cars represent different tastes as you your self mentioned. Both cars are semi GT cars but made for different reasons.

Good question though. I guess if one wants all out speed = GTR
Speed + comfort = M3

I sort of disagree that M3 will provide any more comfort, I have see many a 3ers and M3 is nothing but mechanically better 3er, which makes me believe that M3 isnt going to be any more comfortable than the GTR if not less.

With the stuff that BMW gets on these cars,I bet the M3 will be way better than the GTR. I've been in the E46 M3 and the 330ci, one after the other, and oh boy..there was phenomenal difference in the comfort.
