Pinin is a very small version of the Pajero. Its basically a 3 door Pajero but much smaller than the 3 door Pajero!! Confusion right!!
Here is the pic of a Pajero Pinin

The Blue SUV seen in GTO's roof top shot is that of a 3 door Pajero, not a Pinin.Probably 2003-2004.The Pajero Jr. IS the Pajero Pininfarina.I've seen a maroon example a few times in Calicut. It sported a KL-01 reg.(No. for Trivandrum,Kerala's Capital). And no,the bright red Pajero that was once owned by the Koyenco Group in Kerala was a 98' 3 door,Regd. in Calicut. It was sold a year or so back to a guy I know in Cochin. The Koyas have a lot of foreign metal in their garages, but as far as I know, they don't own any Pinins, though they might have one or more full size Pajeros, which I'm not sure of.I'd wondered who'd bother to import such a small SUV,when I saw the Pinin a few months ago. It's so small and a petrol to boot!Would'nt it have been better to get a used full sized (3 or 4 door) Pajero for the same dough?Turbo Diesel without the hassle?I guess we all have our wierd ideas, right?

Never seen one before.. It was kind of maroon in color.. Din't get a pic of it nor was i able to get a look at the number plate..
The road was really crowded(Man traffic in Cochin)...
This was a 3 door version of the Pajero... Pretty smart looking though and compact..

_Cheers_
Yo Ricky I saw it too, near the stock exchange.
