Do tuners like Switzer and AMS have representatives in India or are these cars imported post the tuning is done abroad?

As far as I know, no, they dont have a whole tuning setup here.
They could have representatives but again I am guessing.

You are right. As far as I can recall, Switzer and AMS do not have their direct presence in India. I flew down the AMS team to Chd to work on my GTR. Glad to know others followed suit and trusted the right people to work on a machine as sensitive as the GTR.

According to AMS website Racetech and Performance Racing Store are their representatives or dealers in India. When i spoke to the owner of AMS he had no clue of this.

Last visit of C from AMS did bring up your car topic . He is scheduled to be in Bombay in a weeks time to check both GTR's. I absolutely agree with you, AMS is highly professional and know the car inside out, one just cannot find anyone better than them for the GTR.

What about regular servicing of the car post the tuning? I believe Switzer offers 2 year warranty on the job done by them. So in that case even the servicing will have to be carried out by them for the warranty to hold good.

Does AMS offer any warranty package? Are those guys flown in for regular servicing as well or is it managed by the likes of Racetech?

AMS also offers something similar but India it does not hold good. As for the service goes its a normal procedure, call for the oils, brake pads and filters and have a garage do it for you, GTR is not officially sold here so the dealerships dont touch it..or rather they have no clue about it.

With my friends car he flies down the AMS guys if anything major is there, normal service is done locally. Racetech does not manage his car in any form and as i did mention earlier AMS's person had no clue of who Racetech and Performance Racing Store were.

Performance racing store is a importer for Akrapovic exhaust systems for bikes via AMS and not related to car modifications or tunings.

Nope. TG'S and another from Bombay.

TG's car is built in Dubai , and as speedy mentioned taken care by AMS themselves.
We work very closely with AMS and have used AMS parts on most of the GTR's in the country and can support and build as per ones requirements.

I guess you purchase the AMS kits available online and do the GTR's. I had made a certain GTR owner that got his car done by you'll talk to C last time he was in the country.

She does not carry any AMS parts but is just tuned by AMS to give about 650 bhp. This time round she might get the 800 bhp treatment.

T.G.'s car the silver with black top is the Alfa, you can see the badges on the rear of the car.

She is not an AMS modified car, just tuned. These cars dont need checkups unless you go and break something. The car is serviced and done at a friends place so AMS guys dont need to come down specially for it.
