Saw Mr.Tata driving his California. This was on the day of Supercar Rally. Not blankig the plates as someone has already posted a picture with the plates

Am i missing something here? How did he register an L.H.D car in India?

He is Ratan Tata, of course, and this is India. He's on the FIAT board too, I think, and therefore was allowed to bring it in and register it for test purposes(?).

Thank you.This was after all the cars left for the rally and i was trying to catch up with them.

On my way home from the vintage car fiesta, I saw Ratan Tata taking his Sunday morning drive in his Cadillac XLR on Marine Drive.

He saw me taking this picture, got annoyed and I couldn't even see him in the next 5 seconds.

Sorry no pictures of the front or the side.

Ratan Tata seems to quiet like the wind-in-the-hair experience, be it the Italian way or the American way!

and that kid, whoever he/she is, is sure as hell gonna grow to be a professional open-car race driver! How do i know? Well, going by the pics, he seems to have completed the first lesson, getting used to the wind-in-the-hair experience!

Ratan tata's cars and his comments on them;

Ferrari California: “It’s the most exhilarating car I have. The sound is fantastic and it turns heads.”

Maserati Quattroporte: “It’s softer than the Ferrari and is also terrific to drive.”

Cadillac XLR: “This roadster is one of my favourites. The acceleration is impressive and the suspension is quite stiff by American standards.”

Chrysler Sebring: “I just love the colour of this car. In fact, the Indica we first showcased in Geneva in 1998 was painted the same colour.”

Land Rover Freelander: “It drives quite well and I love the red upholstery.”

Mercedes 500 SL: “When I got it, it was terrific but it’s now just another car.”

Mercedes S-class: “It’s for normal use and after the sports cars it feels like butter and goes like a glider!”

Indigo Marina: “I’ve removed the backseat and put a mattress to take my dogs in it.”

he has the indigo! LOL!

Great pic 911er. I saw this Chrysler XLR near Atria last year and was really disheartened not being able to snap it and I have always admired the clean lines of this car. Thank You for the pic !!

He has a very balanced garage,a car for every occasion!I think he had a black w124 before which he had sold it.It was in brilliant condition,read it somewhere in tbhp.

Considering he has no sibling,wonder what will happen to this brilliant garage!
