I don't think you need the mod's permission to post the car name!

I know for sure that he is often seen around in the first Indica that rolled out of the Tata factory.

Mr. Ratan Tata is a nice and down to earth wonderful man, not a show off at all. I do not know what car he drives but I've eaten his popcorn once (he offered me his bowl while he was munching - it was ActII microwave popcorn) where he lives/ lived, near Sassoon Dock.

I couldn't believe what a nice and simple man he was.

To end the innumerable requests, I'll put it here : straight 6 claims that he saw Mr. Tata in a Veyron.

Nice thread this is. Ratan Tata is a great man and a very modest guy, unlike other Industrialists, this guy keeps himself out of the limelight. I have great respect for this guy. A pity he does not have any children !!

Thanks GTO for the update.

I beleive it. Mr Tata driving a Veyron - Big Deal for the guy !! I have seen a Veyron in UK a few months back when I was there.

Its probably the only one in India.

Definitely some thing Mr. Tata can buy and drive around in. He is a very nice person indeed. But I don't believe it just yet.. Where people can mistake a 911 Aero Kit to be a GT3 or GT2, mistakes can happen. (Not that one can mistake a Veyron).

So.. When I see it,I'll believe it because as such Veyrons are not made in RHD's and no matter how wealthy a person is, law is law.

You can drive LHD car in India (if it is imported). Not sure what extra things are to be done to get approvals.

Quite a few things have to be done. Yes, of course, one can "drive it" but has to go through quite a few things to "keep it"
