Alright someone please tell me if this Gulf Oil thing is happening or not, and if yes then where!! Because at Reclamation there are hoardings of Gulf Oil ALL OVER THE PLACE and some stupid music is blaring. I usually assume it's just another shooting (well as of now there's a Green Bimmer-6 and a silver SL500 there) but if there's the faintest chance of this ASTON hidden somewhere in that crowd then to hell with my exams, i'm jumping out of my window and heaing there ASAP!! Can someone please provide some info?

its a race car based on DB9. i guess there are two versions, DBR and DBRS.

The car is a DBR9 !!

Just got back from the venue. The sound of the car was INSANE. Would make your ears bleed. Got some pictures and videos, but they're not really great quality. Posting them anyway. Wait for jalsa to upload his snaps. He's got some killer ones. This has been a fantastic day!! All thanks to this really nice guy at the entrance who saw how enthu and desparate I was to get some nice snaps so he let me in!!

I have some videos as well but no time to upload them and all now, sorry. Exams are on! jalsa, waiting for your snaps.

The last snap is of one of the drivers, Thomas Enge. The other one was Darren Turner. S2 you rock man. Thanks for starting this thread, I'd have killed myself if I had missed this event, going on right outside my window and not even knowing about it! Although eventually hearing the DBR9 kripping the road apart would probably have gotten my attention!!

I still get goosebumps remembering the way this sounded on Top Gear. I guess it sounded just as good in real life if not better !! You lucky bums !!

@nikhilb : you haven't the faintest idea. videos will never do justice to the symphony of the dbr9. even in my videos the sound starts cracking when it passes by where im standing. its too loud for the camera!!
