VW Polo Sedan in Mumbai

spotted this about 20 mins ago near my home

it had german plates and was followed by a touraeg and a passet wagon

the driver saw me taking the pic and all 3 of them sped awaay..

but polo sedan . Will sell for sure. If its in the verna / city/ fiesta range.

From the picture, it looks like a Right Hand Drive car. If i'm not mistaken, it's left hand driven cars for Germany. Isn't it?

the rear looks like the Petra, however the front looks nice.
Having said that, i doubt if it will hold well against the likes of the NNHC, Fiat Linea, and others

polo sedans are sold in brazil which means LHDs. dont know which other country are these sold in. definately nor in western europe

IMO, the rear its looking ugly. It looks much like Fiat Seina.
Can teach Verna, SX4, Fiesta and G3HC/G2HC a lesson if priced right with a good diesel.

I cant believe volkswagen have come up with this design.It look's like something from the 90's.Any idea how much it will cost?If above 8 lakhs,not worth.

It is in India for testing. VW has plans to launch this car.
Will be priced sub 9 lakh and if they get a 1.4tDi or similar. It will do wonders

amongst sedans any VW smaller than passat doesnt really look good
the hatchbacks are nice

Yuck ! This model should have been lanched 10 years back as per the looks !
Im not to sure how it ll survive with VW pricing in the C+ segment. The diesel engine could only save it.
