Merc held an event today at Runway 9 - they had the SLS, GL and ML and the others in the Merc range. Got to sit in the SLS for a drive. They did not let you drive it but sure did take you for a spin by the professionals. Sweet machine!

Great News !!
but doesn't it make more sense in launching in other Indian cities -Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore- first as compared to Hyderabad ??

why HYD, you ask? i'am assuming that Mr. 20+ Bentleys must have placed an order and hence the launch must have been planned in HYD. Or it could be someone else too, considering the rumor that the aforementioned person recently took delivery of a Buggati Veyron.
HYD seems to have got a lot of stinking rich petrol-heads.case in point, the other day i saw a Rolls Royce Phantom COUPE! was taking pictures and i bet my friend that the car was going to Mr. 20+ Bentleys' house.but it went elsewhere and was joined by a Phantom and they both entered the same gate!

will be uploading those and many other pics in a couple of days.

Wow shyn, thats a rare catch. The RR Phantom Coupe is a wonderful spotting. The blue Phantom looks the part too. Nice spottings !!

Nice catch there. They would enter the same gate as the cars belong to the same owner

. I had a chance to see the Phantom DH convertible a few days ago in Bombay and now the coupe through your lense.

that they belong to the same owner is evident from the pics.but i'm guessing you know who that owner is, right? i know you can't take names on this forum, but can you at least confirm that they don't belong to "the man with 20+ Bentleys"? like i mentioned before, the cars didn't go to Mr.20+ Bentleys' house but to some other house (which looked as if it were deserted for quiet some time), a couple of blocks away from his.

The cars belong to the family you talk off. The DH coupe is the only one in the country, so the owner is not mistaken. They dont have 20 + Bentleys but around 6 or 7 of them. The Rolls Royce count i believe was 5 When i last heard. They do also own other exotics and high end cars and a person of his stature would not have only one house. A house close by would serve not only as an investment but also as a parking lot for some cars.

so is there any truth to the latest rumour, the one about the latest addition to their garage in the form of a white Bugatti Veyron?

I believe they are getting one, but i dont know the colour or the status of delivery.
