So I stand corrected then!
Went to Novotel RGIA yesterday where the test-drive was scheduled to take place from 2pm. Reached there at around 4pm 'coz we weren't sure which Novotel it was (went to the HICC one first). She was sitting right in front of the hotel and in a couple of minutes came out the test-driver with a guest and then began the 'chase'!

After around 15 minutes of cruising along at 115kmph, this is all I could manage. Now I can't decide which was the best pic.
The test driver drove it for most of the part and they even got pulled over by the cops once. At one point the test driver floored her and even though we were at 115 we couldn't see her, she vanished leaving us in a blast of heat!

No, they did not! They were probably wondering what the 'UFO' was doing on the road!

The Veyron isn't particularly a good looking supercar. In fact, it's hideous next to, say, a Pagani or a Koenigsegg, or any Lamborghini.

But.

(and there is always a but) you've managed to capture the essence of this wonderful machine. A Veyron on Indian roads is always something. The way it looks on those roads, next to the lesser mortal cars, is just staggering. No supercar has the sort of presence this one has.

This has been a fail safe technique used by many experienced supercar owners around the world, very thin chances that it didn't work, considering the fact that the speed humps on the ORR must be more well designed and gradual than the hillocks elsewhere.

Mayankk, this is the Demo car, was here to give testdrives to prospective customers. It will go back to Delhi, and later to France as soon as they are done with the drives.

Also, Veyrons are made ONLY in LHD spec, the ones which are sold in India too will be LHD, they, along with Koenigsegg managed to convince the government to allow these cars in cos the revenue each car generate is HUGE!

No, the under body did not scrape even on that mighty speed-bump! Just goes to show how good the Veyron would fare as a daily-drive!

The person driving it looks to be Bugatti's official test driver Pierre Henri Raphanel. He was here with the Veyron to give the people test driving the veyron inputs about driving this beast.
