Congrats Huracan.lp580 for your new ride. Hope to see this beauty on the roads of Hyd pretty soon.

Congrats !

Photo shoot of your Lambo at Golconda or Faluknuma, with the city skyline in the background if possible please !

Also if you don't mind me asking, if you can afford a Huracan, you can afford an Aventador, so why didn't you go all out ?

By the way, I hope you have some way to manage the riff raff. There are people out that that will steal the Lambo logo on your car, will scratch the car out of jealousy, and will lean all over it whilst snapping pics when you park it and it goes unguarded.

I salute you for your courage, owning a car like that brings privileges but headaches as well especially in Hyd which is really just a giant village.

Thanks! I am already in touch with some photographers, so I will be getting a photoshoot around town, no promises about the location though.

Well to be honest, the Huracan is a college graduation present from my father. My father's business operates globally and runs on 100% white transactions, contrary to the stereotype in India. Having studied economics and finance, I have some basic understanding about managing assets and liquidity. To my eyes, the Huracan itself is absolutely ridiculous value for money in India. The Aventador's price just takes this to another level. Add in maintenance costs for both models in the long run, and the Huracan is significantly easier to live with when compared with it's older brother. Moreover, I aspire to do well and build my own car collection someday. I see the Huracan as a great starting point and hope to purchase more cars, including a full blown supercar like the Aventador, with my own earnings. If I were to get the Aventador straight away from college, I probably would not be as motivated. And I suspect I would want to get rid of it after a few years.

Another major reason is for the drivability factor of both models. The Huracan is easier to commute around town, with it's smaller dimensions, modern tech, double clutch unit and more compliant ride. The Aventador is more of a challenge to drive and is best suited for those looking for the drama factor in their supercar. Ask anyone who has driven both, and majority will prefer the Huracan over the Aventador in terms of fun factor behind the wheel, especially on our roads.

I only intend to use the car for joyrides during wee hours or for weekend drives. I will not actually be using it to commute around town everyday, so leaving the car unattended will not really be an issue for me. Nevertheless, paint protection film is the first thing I will get installed over the entire car, as soon as it lands. Although chances are slim, if I do end up using it once in a while to get around town, I will ensure that I have help to keep an eye out for the car.

Congrats on the car buddy. My case is exactly the same, and I'll be graduating in 2017. I might be getting a 580-2 or the 488 hopefully. I've had plans to get a F Type R or the GT-R or even the 911 GT3 since college started, but they've always got dropped for good I guess. I end up getting more practical and powerful everyday machines instead.

Yes the bigger V12's play around with my mind a lot too, but I want more to look forward to in life and not end up with the ultimate dream car so soon. I've driven both the Huracan and the Aventador, even the F12 but no 458 or 488 till now. I would easily pick the Huracan instead of the Aventador, and the F12 over the Aventador in India. It feels unreal how comfortable the Huracan is to drive, keeping in mind our road conditions.

The white Huracan look like plain jane vanilla infront of that orange faux-pirelli edition Aventador.
But it will make the perfect Yang to Mr. LP580's Yin (all black Huracan)!

Hi congrats on your purchase. It is my sincere request, do start an ownership review once you get the car. It would be extremely awesome for a Huracan ownership to be put up on Team-BHP.
