Without the carbon fibre B pillar, the R* shape is too bluff!

Looks like a homemade supercar . Lot of the Maruti 800 coupe conversions I have seen in the flesh and on teambhp endup looking like this odd/abruptly ending front door and b pillar look.

Couldnt agree with the criticism more.
Just goes to show how the additon of one colour band on the car can change the entire look.Somehow,if the car were black rather than red it would look better.
Would be interesting to know how the design evolved and whether the contrasting carbon fibre B pillar was a later addition on the design table , maybe in answer to criticisms like ours.
Anyway, all speculation.

That R8 is mad, should have seen the speed it overtook me on the way back from the drag and then just after he did there was a speed breaker n the car came to a halt in just a second or 2. it was too wide to fit in a single lane, the driver almost scraped the center median on the road but what a sight it was..PHEW..

The rear half almost looks like a piece of a different car stuck into the front end. C pillar design resembles a g35 coupe

This Colour of R8 is not at all appealing.....Looking like a local paint job, should have had carbon pillars or it should have been in black....That would have rocked the car...

Blame it on the camera, it couldnt capture the right color. This color is as good as black.

A pic from Drag.

it could be a rumour but apparently the supra has 900 horses under its hood.. the thing got thrashed by a stock sky GTR (New) with 570hp even though he got a bad start. the driver by the looks of it gave the supra evrything he had in it but the GTR was simply ferocious when accelerating (to think this beast was primarily made to corner well than perform in a straight line drag). And the M3 looked like it was going in reverse compared to the GTR... Insane.
All in all a very badly organised event (as expected) with what I can only assume the fewest no. of participants ever to take part in a Drag, considering Hyd alone has more than 2 dozen exotic sports cars and numerous superbikes. None of the spectators knew wat speeds they were doin, wat times they clocked nor even who won the race if it was a close one !!!! It was sad to see just four or five sports cars, one yam R6 take part and not a single R1 even attended the race...Very sad. I wonder why APMSC cant pull any strings and hold the event in the old airport in Begumpet. Now that would be one hell of an event with the whole runway to ourselves.
