yeah i think santacruz station , just before the police station is some new corporate building on the opp. side , the driver pointed out to the building saying saab dekhta hai !
said the car is just 4 days old , bas abhi hi laya hai .

I think thats because many of the parts for the S class are localised.

Yup, i thought you were comparing the CLS 350 and CLS 500.
Price difference is because of import duty.
The CLS is a cbu so 104% duty implies
whereas the S 350 is a CKD so its around 50-60% duty.

And just btw,

The Rupee price of the CLS 350 is,
STANDARD CAR 5820495.00
METALLIC PAINTWORK 119148.00
LEATHER 196428.00

This excludes all options but includes duty
whereas the price of the 500 is,
STANDARD CAR 6951867.00
METALLIC PAINTWORK 119148.00
LEATHER STANDARD

The CLS 500 was reportedly sold for Rs 1.2 Crores. I found out who the owner is. I don't remember the name, but I can tell you what else he is famous for. If it's alright with others on the forum, that is.

This was at Worli Seaface at about 1.45 am.
It was really nice of the owner to stop in the middle and let him click.

As of now this is not the only CLS in Mumbai. There is a black one too. Cant tell you where it is right now but it will be at the showroom from tuesday evening onwards, so anyone who wants to see it upclose and personal please drop in to AutoHangar.

black CLS yummy yummy take a pic before it leaves the showroom hehehe. damn this car looks good if only it had a good paint job. forget the s class this is the car to buy. fresh design and damn it was fast the way it moved. the car was on 02 reg thats andheri so i guess the car is somewhere in suburbs. but then u never know
