How many of these 300C Limo's are there in India?

1. The pics on the first page (Chrysler 300C Limousine) have a MH temp number.
2. The second one with a PB registration (probably the first one registered with PB).
3. The third is a black one (Chrysler 300C Limousine).
4. Fourth is a DL registered (Chrysler 300C Limousine) one probably belonging to ECO Rent.
5. The fifth is the one seized by the Andheri RTO.

Car number 1 and 2 look the same if you see the chrome accessories on the extended window.
Car number 4 and 5 look the same again if you see the chrome accessories on the extended window (but with different registration numbers).

Most likely is the same car as the news articles mention the car was brought down from Delhi for an event, before being seized by the RTO.

Guess there seems to be some confusion on the year of manufacture of the 300C. If the registration documents shows this as a 2012 manufacture - this is wrong. Because the 300C went through a facelift in 2011. Maybe the RTO has been confused with the Year of Registration and Year of Manufacture. Or maybe the news article misprinted the year as 2012 instead of 2002.
As per the Vahan website, the fitness certificate for this 300C expires in 2017, so probably this vehicle was registered as a 2002 Year of Manufacture. If that's the case, then something is fishy - because the 300C was introduced only in 2004.

Going through their website, ECO Rent a Car seems to be a very reputed company having received a Presidential award (National Tourism Award in 2015 and 2016).

Both the silver 300C Limos are owned by Eco and have been built by a Chrysler authorised firm in the US as per their interview in 2012 when they launched the car.

Also, As per the Maxicab rule on the Delhi Govt website, this car fits the Maxicab description.

So it's only down to them to prove the legality of the import / registration.
