For those wondering what all the hype is about.

Check these lap times and the cars below the #6 - Ariel Atom

Food for thought that is.

Great car to look at, just so impractical that I would never think of owning one...
I don't think the car is here for keeps. He has residences around the world and so I could assume that he has brought the car for some fun and may be the speed events and all happening in Bombay.
Just my 2 cents.

KD, honestly, the car is impractical anywhere in the world! IMO that is. Especially considering the speeds one can do, I'd rather be in an M3, C63, or LP640 than in that thing at 250KM/h....[any other car for that matter]

Think about it this way, conservatively, what if something were to go wrong, is this the car you'd want to be in? Strictly for the track this is, anywhere on the road is a no no...

cheers:

Man, this is a first and would love to see it scorch the tracks when speedrun is here.

Hope to spot it sometime.

DocG : All the more reason to lobby for a racetrack up north.

Hahah! Awesome! Absolutely awesome! Kudos to GS for getting himself one of these. He's only gonna be able to drive it at the drag events, to be realistic, but you gotta smile at the guy's taste!

I'm guessing he needs the extra "real estate" for his Zapp ads at the next drag!

The ACI Performance Show is just over a month away. I am expecting and looking forward to seeing this car there.
I had a cop tell me that my M3 exhaust was broken and to get it fixed!

Ohh and the above one is the supercharged on thats why it has the Spoilers.
I've seen supercharged atoms that didn't have the spoiler before.

It should be road legal, I don't see an issue with that. And the wings are optional extras, can be ordered in bare Carbon fibre or the contrasting body colour.
Yes, that makes sense, the wings are options. Like I said, he'll need the space for the stickers come Speed 09.

Wow ..wonder how many in india know that there is a car called ariel atom. Now mumbai has its own rocket on wheels. Must admit GS does have a taste when it comes to cars. Hopefully we'll get to see it in the speedruns soon.

It might be fast, but a supercar is more than just a jet pack on wheels.

exactly. this is NOT a jet pack on wheels. The SSC Thrust is a jet pack on wheels

This is beautiful to look at is desirable, sounds like god singing, goes faster than anything on 4 wheels, is desired by every one in this world. This acc to me is a super car.

Simply love this Sports car.
0-100 in 2.5 odd seconds , wind across your chin while you're driving at almost its high speed of 249kmph.

Wish i could ride one of these.

The Atom makes no sense in Mumbai. Honestly where can you drive it? I think this is another car for Mr. Raymond to get attention and feed his massive ego. Sorry but I prefer guys like Mr. Tata who are understated and don't show off their wealth. Atom is intended to become another page 3 car and was not bought for performance reasons

I am joining the Delhi speed run for sure! Probably will sponsor them too.
