Honey....I Broke The Mercedes!!!!

So, Was near Kobe (bandra) when this merc S320 comes and stops there, and as usual, i start drooling. Then after a while the people in it start getting out and the driver opens the hood.. By that time, as i had to leave, i moved on. A few minuites and a couple or burgers (All Hail Bembos!!) later, i start coming back home when all of a sudden i see the same MErc on the back of Mondial Assistance's Tow Truck!! I thought these pics are interesting, hence i am posting them here!!

A similar truck is used by BMW in Bangalore for all breakdown repairs. At least our towing companies are slowly coming of age.

Maybe it is just another form of being chauffeur driven around?

Ensure that none of the little bugs bug you on the road!

Most of these cars cannot be towed by regular tow companies, because they need all 4 wheels off the ground. They cannot be dragged like traditional cars.

all Bmw dealers are to have these kind of towing trucks.infinity motors in Bombay has one already and I believe Navnit is getting it's soon.
Mondails website doesn't have their number, does any one have their Mumbai number? Would be good to keep it handy incase of emergency.

Another thing i noticed.. At the Signal, When the Truck Started moving, The Headlights and Foglights in the front and the Back Taillights came on automatically. The Interior lights also came on as the truck began to move. And they all stopped the moment the Truck Stopped.

A similar truck came and took my neighbours car away. The exhaust tip and the front bumper scraped the ground while the car was being pulled towards the platform.

There goes all the fancy around the service. Can a customer claim for damages from Mondial or will the car company own up expenses.

Obviously the owner will have a low feeling as well as low pocket and the loss of No Claim Bonus!!
