These luxury barges aren't 600 BHP fire-breathing Super Cars, but they still require a little familiarisation period due to their size, weight & healthy power on tap. A friendly Mod nearly lost my 530d on a u-turn that he took damn aggressively (it was his first time driving it).

Take your time understanding the car before pushing it.

Re: Supercar & Import Crashes in India

A colleague used to get an occasional commuting lift in a Rolls. One day he asked if he could drive it. The owner himself was amazed at its performance!

Yes, the same car. The car was delivered just a week or two back.

Re: Supercar & Import Crashes in India

I read somewhere that the hood ornament of a Rolls retracts incase of any accident, but it is still shinning in the above pics?

That is if someone tries to directly tamper/play with the "Spirit of Ecstasy" ornament.

I think that can be deactivated from the on board computer.

Re: Supercar & Import Crashes in India

A Porsche 911 (997) Turbo caught fire this morning in Mumbai.

Got couple of pics over whatsapp, not sure how it happened though.

Re: Supercar & Import Crashes in India

Here are more some images. I had reached the site just as the firefighters were dowsing the fire. It happened at Peddar Road at the Carmichael Road signal. Cops didn't allow anyone to stop. Got these images from a fellow cyclist on WhatsApp.

I saw videos of a white Mulsanne and a Ferrari FF with fumes coming out of them. Is this some bad fuel epidemic?

The FF alone caught on fire.

The owner rushed to the scene in his Mulsanne, driving quite spiritedly and that's what made it billow smoke from the brakes which people mistook for another fire.

Hey Avishar can you share the video here or perhaps someone else can share some images.

It's disheartening to hear about one of the handful of Ferrari FF s India.
